We were delighted to be able to take a further 5 cases to Edinburgh this week.  Each of the cases were themselves filled with 40 packs of nappies and were accompanied by an absolutely amazing donation of 20 pairs of new, unworn trainers as well as 4 bags of clothing.  Gosh, were they thankful in Edinburgh.

We are, however, asked if we could be careful of the nappies we provide.  Thankfully this problem has never arisen with our donations, but apparently some of the nappies (it would seem to be Pampers) have also wording in Hebrew which is a big problem for those in Syria and Ukraine.

So please keep your donations coming – with nappies go for Aldi, Lidl, and big supermarkets’ own brands – and for clothing time to clean out your winter wardrobe.  I am here to collect whenever you need me. 07546 087230.  Please in these days of scam calls, if I don’t answer your call will you leave your own name and number and I’ll call you back.

SOYA Thank you all once again for continuing the donations of food and toiletries for SOYA. These are a wonderful blessing for our young adults and Social Work are very happy to continue to distribute these as needed (which is always!). As usual, don’t hesitate to give me a call if you need any donations uplifted from your home. I am very happy to ask David to do so!! The number to call is 07546 087230. Evelyn McFadyen.
