Prayer for this week: Loving God, Move us by your Holy Spirit. Give us a vision for your church here on earth. Bring good news to us all – through us. Bring freedom and peace to broken people, and let us get a taste of Heaven here on Earth. Open our eyes to see you as you are. And open our hearts to praise you. Give us a vision that will take us out of our comfort zones And lead us into new ways of serving you. Help us to be agents of your love to all people in a world where there is much division and hate. Helps us to be beacons of hope in a world that is sinking deeper into despair. Help us to be agents of your peace in a world that is torn apart by conflict and wars. In our worship our God, give us a vision for your kingdom here on earth, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Notices for this week:
Re-opening of St. Nicholas Church for in-person worship: The Kirk Session is delighted to announce that we are in the process of preparing St. Nicholas to re-open for in-person worship on Sunday 13th of June. The maximum amount of people allowed in the building at any one time is 50 due to the 2m social-distancing rule. We do not wish to turn anyone away at the door and therefore we will be working with a booking system on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once a particular Sunday is fully booked, you will be given the option to book for the next Sunday. We will only be taking bookings week-by-week. Please contact Mrs. Carol Ewing to book a place from a Monday to a Wednesday between office hours of 9am-11am, on Mobile phone: 07862 953847 or Email: email@example.com. Things will look a little bit different than normal – as we are not allowed to sing at the moment, and we will all need to wear face coverings for the entire service. Hand sanitisers will be available at the door and a duty elder will show you where to sit. The services will also be recorded for those who will not be able to be in church, and will be made available on Youtube, Facebook and the website, by a Sunday evening. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Hanneke on 01506206045 or firstname.lastname@example.org or your district elder, and we would be happy to assist you with any questions or queries.
